About Cats Cottage:

Cats Cottage is the Latrobe Valley's premier boarding cattery and has been for 27 years, servicing Traralgon, Morwell, Moe, Sale, Mirboo North, Trafalgar, Churchill, Boolarra, Yarram, Yallourn and everywhere in between.

We are set in a beautiful, dog-free, country atmosphere, away from the noise, hustle and bustle of town but still not far from the Traralgon CBD or the Princes Highway. Cats Cottage provides the perfect, relaxing and stress-free environment for your cat while you have a break. Here at Cats Cottage, you will have peace of mind knowing that your VIP (Very Important Pet) will receive lots of love and care during its stay as cats are more than a job to us, cats are our passion!

Deluxe Suites:

Our deluxe suites are extra large, with raised sleeping area, ramp, play shelf and their own private, full-size, outdoor area. Deluxe suites are also climate controlled meaning your cat will be more than comfortable whether it be a 36 degree day in summer or a cold, winter night. Providing a soothing rainforest atmosphere with beautiful garden views, a running stream and rainforest music throughout. Deluxe suites also have come with large four-post beds and raised bowls fit for only the most pampered of pets! And for the shy ones we also have some cosy igloo beds for them to hide and feel safe in, though their own beds from home are always welcome!

All suites are accessed from a secure, double-gated  work area ensuring no escapees!

Standard Suites: Don't let the name fool you, our 'standard' accommodation is still far beyond that of our competition. Each suite has it's own private, outdoor balcony, raised sleeping area and ramp. This means your cat is not cooped up all day inside a cage as they can go outside whenever they please and get some sunshine and fresh air. With a small garden view inside and rainforest music piped throughout it still has a relaxed feel. Several ceiling fans help cool the shed and increase airflow. Our standard suites are not offered all year round, these are simply used as overflow accommodation during peak times when the deluxe suites are full.

BYO: There is also plenty of room in both deluxe and standard suites for you to bring along your cat's favourite toys, bedding or scratching posts, in fact we encourage bringing something from home as the familiar smells can help calm a nervous kitty!
 

No Dogs: Another advantage of Cats Cottage is that we ONLY board cats, whereas other places often board cats and dogs. Not surprisingly, you will find that cats tend to be much more relaxed and settled when they are in a cats only place.
